Back to school after school holidays

It's June and two weeks of school holidays over, back to school and today is kind of hard to wake up my son to go school. While my kiddo has come opening my door to wake me up as early as 7am as he wants to go kindergarten.

There was invitation to watch Power Rangers at RWG last Saturday but we are not available as son has to go tuition in the morning and afternoon I have an event to go, then in the evening we have a family meal with my parents for early celebration of Father's Day.

We had steamboat dinner at a restaurant, RM305 for 8 adults and 2 children. Children is measured by height and inclusive of two cans drink. Loving steamboat and spread of variety choice there, we enjoy ourselves. We have chosen a tom yam soup and chicken soup for our steamboat.

If you have been reading my blog updates. You will find that mymomsbest is no longer used as the blog link because I cannot access it anymore. Though the domain name is not expiry yet, something happened to it and my friend couldn't figure what happen so I decided to purchase a new domain for this blog.

My standard four son is going to have school exam next week. He's indeed poor in BM, BC and he has been going for tuition and have little improvement on that. I hope he keeps it up and learn and do more exercise in the poor subjects that he cannot master. His favourite is English and the mark has decrease, his class teacher has left school due to retirement. Last I saw the class teacher is to collect his report card. She is 60 years old. Today new class teacher has come to teach them.

Guardian's My Date with Beauty

It is my first time to join the Guardian's My Date with Beauty. this year theme "My Date with Beauty" is this year's Great Guardian Makeover held at Ground Floor Concourse (old wing) at One Utama Shopping Mall Centre.  This is two days event, it started today and tomorrow is the last day.

My Saturday early morning out of house has heavy raining, this didn't stop me from gong to Guardian's My Date with Beauty. You can check out my instagram video on a short tour.

A photo session with the dancers and A Cut Above Academy, a total of 20 hair stylists and make-up artists with the VVIPs.

 Here's fabulous for your to do your hair style there are three choices for long hair styles and short hair styles. The makeup you can choose either Nude makeup or Glam makeup.

First will be makeup before doing the hairstyle, 1st picture is not me as I am no.7. She's no.8 she's having her makeup first then my turn. Two people for my hair do, I choose half braided hair for long hair style.

Customers who purchased RM20 and above including one participating brand in a single receipt were entled to one Makeover Ticket at RM10 to join The Great Guardian Makeover event at One Utama Shopping Centre. Each Makeover Ticket entitled the customer to a makeover sesson, photo session and a goody bag. 

In conjunction with Great Guardian Makeover, there are two online contests - A PhotoBox Contest on Facebook and an Instagram Contest. The contest period for both the contests is from 5 April to 30 April. 

For PhotoBox Contest on Facebook, participants need only to post creatively with the given props provided by Great Guardian Makeover held in One Utama Shopping Centre, LIKE the Guardian Facebook page and look for your photo in the Photo Box Contest photo album. Tag yourself on the photo and upload it as your Facebook profile picture. The lucky winner wins a Designed Bag worth RM1,140.

On the Instagram Contest, participants need to follow Guardian on Instagram at #guardianmalaysia; snap a selfie and submit the photo and in not more than 20 words tell Guardian "What makes you beautiful". Tag @guardianMalaysia and #GuardianBeauties and you are on your way for a chance to win a Designer Bag worth RM1,140.

18 brands participated in this year's event, they are: L'Oreal Paris, Maybelline New York, Alcon, Avene, Bio-essence, BioGrow Oat BG22, Biore, Blackmores, Brands, Dermatix, Enchanteur, Hada Labo, Nano White, Neutrogena, Nivea, Oslee, Palmer's and Safi.

I haven't tell you that, I chosen Nude makeup. 

I went back to the Guardian's Date with Beauty event area, I spotted the beauty above. They was a demonstration on Air-Brush Make Up by A Cut Above.
