Last week, I was invited to CARRIE JUNIOR Kids Shampoo Detangling & Frizz Control Hair Workshop.

The event was held at Fullhouse Lifestyle Store & Cafe at Sunway Pyramid.

Children's hair care should not be taken slightly as washing too frequently or using the wrong shampoo may cause hair and scalp damage. So how often should a child wash his or her hair?

For toddles three times a week should be sufficient unless he or she is active and perspires frequently, then you may consider washing it more frequently. My sons are aged 9 years old and 4 years old, they do have their hair washed frequently. 

Whether it is short, shoulder-length or with long tresses, having manageable healthy and beautiful hair is every girl's desire. So what shampoo would be suitable for controlling frizzy hair and achieving beautiful, tangle-free and healthy hair?

Celebrity guests Nazril Idrus and his twin daughers are as well as Ben Ibrahim and his daughter, guests and members of the media we taught more than just combing or hair braiding. Some tips on how to care the delicate scalp and hair of children were shared during the events were:

1. Squeeze dry hair gently

Prevent frizz by using a soft towel to gently absorb water from strands post-shower. Using softer material will prevent your hair from getting tangled and damaged when you dry it. When you use a coarse towel or when rub your hair it is more likely to cause fizzing. Do not wiring out your hair or squeeze too hard as this can easily damaged hair

2. Wide tooth comb on wet hair 

Use a wide-tooth comb on wet hair. 

Avoid using brush on wet hair as wet hair is more prone to breakage and may also lead to fizzing.

3. Brushing hair

Brushing hair helps in stimulating the blood capillaries, thereby increasing the blood circulation and transportation of nutrients and oxygen to the stem, root and bulb of the hair. It also helps in stimulating various oil and hormone producing glands to help hair retain their natural oils. By brushing your hair properly you add life, shine and volume to your hair. Only brush when hair is dry.

4. Comb from the ends

Don't start at the top; you'll just make tangles worse. Instead, begin at the ends and slowly work your way up the hair shaft towards the roots, gently pulling apart knots with your fingers.

5. Curly and dry hair

Curly and dry hair types are usually more fragile than straight hair. Try to wash it less frequently.

Aloe Vera for skin and hair care

Have you got any aloe vera at home? Aloe vera is good for skin care and hair care. My father-in-law used to use the aloe vera for his hair care, he even eat it raw but he would first cut the skin off the aloe vera.

I tried before using the raw aloe vera to rub on my cleanse face but first cut the skin off the aloe vera. You can see thorns at side of the aloe vera because with your hands. Beware it may not be pleasant feeling because of it's stickiness.

Where to purchase C.Michael hair dye?

Where to purchase C.Michael hair dye? I found them selling at Aeon but it is not all the colors. Yeah don't see the colour I bought for my mom. Guess I am not alone interested in the hair dye, my parents in law too are interested. They tried this brand and they fall in love with it.

Above picture on the day I am going to One Utama with my son for the movie Man of Steel. First time using this brand, I used the vivid violet but it is not showing the colour. The radian red beautiful colour for my mom, yes it shows on her hair. You can check the picture at instagram sherry go.

 

My hair is darker colour so I was told before that it may not show on my hair easily. Unlike my mom, she has more grey hair and colour turns out great for her. :D

 

She loves the colour and I am for her. I give her a bottle of anti hair fall shampoo.

 

Do you remember the day I went to Subang Parade the Guardian to purchase the hair dye products? I used them last week on my mom and me. No doubt I am going to purchase this brand again but I will find the colour which just like for my mom. :D

Beautylabo: Maple Chocolate hair colour for me

I am sure you remembered my post on this Beautylabo hair dye products, I used the French Chocolate. Look at the above second picture and it looks so foamy after 30 shakes! I applied the foam on my hair and leave it for 30 minutes.

Yesterday I decided to try out the Maple Chocolate of this product. Yeah shake it for thirty times just like teh tarik!

Above pictures during the process of using Maple Chocolate whip hair colour, I find that the darker colour seems to be at the bottom of the bottle. Perhaps I need to use something to stir it first before shaking it?!

Below picture of me taken this morning, after shower and I washed my dair due to hot weather.

 

There is an instruction paper inside the bottle, it's English so easy for me to read. :D

Shake Shake! Whip Hair Colour from Japan here comes French Chocolate

I haven't dye my hair for a long time, I am happy with the result of this product. It is the perfect colour for me, so easy to use just shake and scoop! There's non drip formula, check out the picture above in my hand is the French Chocolate. The item included in the kit colour powder, developer, mixing shaker, after colour treatment, protective gloves, instruction leaflet in English and Japan language. Well I like this product very much, you just need to shake and make! Easy & quick application just scoop and apply the whipped foam with my hands. Last picture above with my hair down is the colour of French Chcolate.

Ingredients of this product: French chocolate color powder (25g); SODIUM CARBONATE, HYDROXYETHYCELLULOSE, AMMMONIUM SULFATE, SOLANUM TUBERSUM (POTATO) STARCH, DISODIUM LAURYL SULFOSUCCINATE, TETRASODIUM EDTA, SODIUM SULFATE, TRISODIUM HEDTA, CYCLODEXTRIN, CELLULOSE GUM, MAGNESIUM STEARATE, TOLUENE-2, 5-DIAMINE SULFATE , ASCORBIC ACID, M-AMINOPHENOL SULFATE, 2,4-DIAMINOPHENOXYETHANOL HC!

I still have other colour of this product, I will share it with my dear mommy. :D

I didn't test the product on my skin, if you like to know skin allergy test procedure you need to make the test mixture pour about 10 drops of the developer and a pinch of colour powder on the bowl then mix with a cotton swab. Apply the test mixture thinly to the inner bend of your elbow (about 1cm) and let it dry. If the test area does not dry after 30 minutes, gently wife off with a facial tissue. A skin allergy test must be conducted 2 days before each time you colour your hair.

Above is my Sasa haul,I bought two body scrub tubes one blue another pink.The pink bottle you are looking at is hair mask, I was told is the best seller and has mango smell.

Revlon Colour Silk Beautiful Colour 72 Strawberry Blonde

I am having my hair dye and I did it myself so I need to wait for 30 minutes to wash my hair. I choose the Revlon Colour Silk Beautiful Colour 72 Strawberry Blonde, I bought the Revlon from warehouse sales. I am keeping a box for my mom, she likes to get her hair dye too. The other day I no help her dye as she just get the hair perm.

This permanent hair colour kit inclues ammonia-free colorant, cream color developer, after color conditioner, applications instructions, and gloves. I haven't try out another brand of hair dye product mention by Tammy at her blog. I like to visit her blog often for the updates of hair dye product and also work shop. Shower gel

So far I have open one to use and still have three bottles. I bring one bottle back to dear's place because the shower gels there not suitable for me. I often bring my own shower gel and shampoo to use. I remember putting a new bottle of shampoo in the bathroom but when I am back there it is empty. I am unhappy so since then I only put the shampoo and shower gel in the room and not the bathroom. My housemate using the hair dye product and there is only one box left.

Show me your bald head

When the first time I saw my sister, she was with my dad and she wearing a red hat. I ask her to take off her hat to show the bald head. Indeed she let me see and take some picture to let my brother see. She is bald and she shaves her own head too. She told me some nuns having shiny heads, dad told us that's because they some of them are really bald. But my dad's side of family nobody is bald.

My sister and dad visit my mom and she is brave enough to show her bald head. I know my mom is not happy she being a nun and she would wants to be one just like her. My mom no chances to see the temple my sister living in as my dad worry that she wants to stay put there with my sister.

Long lasting comb

I cannot believe that my housemate still having this comb, she purchases new one but not interested to use it so she is complaining to me that her hair get tangle often. How many of you willing to use this comb?

I love my hair and that is why I have many shampoo and conditioner to care. Too bad today the warehouse sales I went does not have shampoo, if there is I am going to buy and use. I must admit that I am shampoo gal and you can click link to see the shampoo.

I know most freebie product that comes with comb do not last long. I have one comb which is from Darlie tooth paste. The comb is quite nice and lasted me for 1 year.
