Pensonic is privileged to secure exclusive distributorship rights for renowned UK home appliances brands Morphy Richards and Belling. These two brands are under the Glen Dimplex Group.

This partnership agreement, signed on 15 March 2018, gives Pensonic exclusive distributorship rights to market Morphy Richards and Belling’s appliances in the Malaysian and Singaporean market.

Pensonic, a home grown company, has a domestic distribution network of 10 branches and more than 900 dealers countrywide. This strategically positions Pensonic as the natural choice to distribute and sell these brands in Malaysia and Singapore.


Pensonic Holdings Berhad Group Managing Director Mr.Vincent Chew says, “The Pensonic Group’s alliance with the Glen Dimplex Group brings a depth of both companies’ expertise in home products, to deliver more customer centric appliances that are able to compete effectively in today’s intense global market. Mr.Vincent also added, “With this distributorship, we will work hard to secure a bigger regional coverage area. The addition of these two brands will complement our existing brands and contribute to our Group’s growth and resilience in the future”. This distributorship arrangement is timely as Pensonic anticipates a recovery in the consumer market, and is ready to capture a bigger market share
when that happens. Despite economic challenges and a volatile market, there is a bright future for home products as shoppers are eager to spend on products that simplify and bring value to their lifestyles.


In conjunction with the partnership agreement signing and launching of the two brands, a contest will be held to raise awareness of Morphy Richards (MR) irons among local customers.


MR launched electric temperature controlled irons in 1937, and was once a world market leader. The brand bounced back with an innovative range of superior quality irons to gain customers’ confidence and make MR irons as customers’ first choice. This contest focuses on the history and strong reputation of MR in making high performance home appliances, especially irons. The contest duration is from 15 March to 31 May 2018.

TOP Introduces Hygienically Clean Concept For Cleaner Laundry, More Comfort and A Better Sense of Well-Being


I attended the TOP event which was held in MYDIN MALL, USJ last week. 

TOP, Laundry Detergent, developed by LION Corporation Japan, is the No. 1 Total Laundry Detergent brand in Malaysia. It is championing the concept of hygienically clean living to encourage cleaner laundry, more comfort and a better sense of well-being.

Based on LION Corporation Japan’s technological capabilities, TOP is able to provide superior products that address cleaning issues and create value in consumers’ daily lives by going beyond removing visible soil, to removing invisible soil such as bacteria, sebum and protein that are the root cause of odour, allergies and even some communicable diseases.


TOP, which is managed by Southern Lion Sdn Bhd locally, also introduced its FreshCare Technology that contains Rich-Lasting Fragrance for sustained freshness, supported by microcapsules that adhere to the fabric after wash and release bursts of scent to keep clothes staying fresh up to 14 days from wash to wear. According to Southern Lion Sdn Bhd, Senior Marketing Manager, Ms Carmen Foo, TOP is at the forefront of providing practical solutions to laundry problems linked to changing lifestyles, such as limited space, night washing and indoor drying, the need for more energy and water efficient detergents as well as changing weather events such as the haze and hygiene-related conditions such as a rise in respiratory ailments.

TOP was the first laundry detergent to introduce anti-malodour technology in Malaysia in 2003. Research Led Cleaning Technology Breakthrough
According to Mr Naoyuki Egawa, Head Researcher (International Product Development), Fabric Care Research Laboratories, Lion Corporation Japan, hygienically clean is a concept that is well accepted in Japan due to its overall benefits.


Mr Egawa explained that the focus of hygienically clean laundry is on removing not only visible soils but also the invisible soils. The purpose is to prevent or minimize microbiological effects such as malodour or infection risks that may spread via soiled clothing or household linens.

“TOP is changing what detergents can do. TOP’s technology has unique cleaning agents that penetrate faster and deeper into fabric, surrounding soiled particles, breaking and removing them from the fabric surface and suspending them in the wash water where they are removed during the rinse and spin cycles.”


“In addition, TOP removes bacteria through the use of high bacteriolytic activity enzymes, contributes to the prevention of malodour generation by bacteria metabolism. Our anti-mite dust technology is another proven innovation. Together these technologies take laundry cleaning to a different level of cleanliness, comfort and well-being,” he added.


According to Ms Miki Ohwaku, Head Researcher (Fragrance for Fabric Care), Flavour & Fragrance Research Center, Lion Corporation, the FreshCare Technology is a technology developed by Lion Corporation Japan to enhance the comfort that detergents can deliver to consumers and is available in TOP powder Blooming Freshness variant.

Sold items pictures not in blog post

I have been blogging for few years, I have the right to blog about what I feel is right. Even for the pictures on my blogs, would anyone be interested to look at the sold out items which no longer available? Well, I wouldn't take picture of sold out items to show my readers, I don't want to mislead my readers that the items are available.

Some good example are the pictures taken by me during the event of luxury bags I attended. Though the items are available during my photo shot at the event, I don't know if they are still available after months. It's always best for person who has interest in them to contact the seller directly.

Meet Sofia the First at Disney School's Out Event, we received the invitation to meet Sofia the First at Disney's School Out Event. You can still see Sophia today if you head to Sunway Pyramid.

Sofia the First will be in town during the school holidays, and we'd love to invite you and your kids to meet Disney's first princess-in-training in an exclusive session with bloggers and media! 

I am not able to tell you about the games over there, we didn't enjoy any of the games at all.  Our private and media session are only mean for the meet the Sophia the First, so there's no games activities for us, we need to queue to play and the queue was very long which tired us out. My toddler needs to be carry most of the time. Someone asked me if there's goodie bag given for bloggers that attended this event, well there's none! But if you are Astro subscribers, you need bring your bil to the counter to redemption of goodie bag, which value for first 50 Astro subscribers only. That also we didn't know of it until we reached there.

My victory pain

Good morning and Happy Mother's Day to mommy around the globe. Yesterday I went for the Butterfly Project Malaysia 1st Anniversary at Laser Warzone in eCurve.

Yeah, I had injury during the last battle of laser challenge with butterflies, it's so much fun that I didn't see I knocked twice same area of my arm. My right knee too, there are four games at the Butterfly Project Laser tag Challenge.

You'll able to read more about the fun of laser tag in what every gal want soon. Important rule in the play, one of it is no running in arena, you never know what you'll bump into.

Why would I say this my victory pain because my team won the Champion!

Cabaran Raja Tarik F&N returns for the 9th time

Today is the first destination for the Cabaran Raja Tarik 2014, it is held at Mydin USJ in Selangor.

The search is on! F&N Dairies Malaysia, the No. 1 Condensed Milk company in Malaysia is on the lookout for the next F&N Raja Tarik via its Cabaran Raja Tarik F&N 2014.

F&N Dairies Malaysia kicked off the ninth Cabaran Raja Tarik F&N 2014 with a nation wide search to crown the next Raja Tarik F&N. The roadshow will hit various regions with the auditions in Penang, Johor Bharu, Kuantan, Kota Kinabalu and Sarawak in the weeks ahead to uncover new tarik-king talent amongst Malaysians.

The program will runs on TV3 and TV9 from 21 May to 12 June.


Don't forget that you can view the Cabaran Raja Tarik 2014 on TV show on every Wednesday and Thursday from 21 May to 12 June at 7.55pm on TV3. The repeat show will be on every Thursday and Friday at 6.30pm on TV9.

Expensive Parking fee near TM buildling

I can't believe my eyes that the only available parking near TM building are private parking RM15 per entry, and if you drive further up you can find RM10 per entry. Here's the event of Malay Channel we can enjoy to watch, I attended today at TM Building, you can click the link to find what is it.



By the way the fee from Kerinchi Lrt station to Dang Wangi Lrt station cost RM2 one way.
Above picture is after coming out of Heritage House crossed the road, go straight walk to end junction need cross road wait traffic light to turn green for walkers to walk. This will lead to the pedestrian bridge to Dang Wang Lrt station.

The Nuffnang Malaysia office is nearby Dang Wangi Lrt station, today I was there and I need to go again.

After reach the Dang Wangi Lrt, need crossed the pedestrian bridge then cross the traffic light to opposite. Then turn to right, and first left junction turn in, walk all the way to the end. The Heritage House office in brown colour on the right side.

Anakku 40th Anniversary Finale at Delicious, Dua Residency

How's everyone today, I attended the Anakku 40th Anniversary Finale at Delicious, Dua Residency today.

2013 was a huge year for Malaysia’s very own homegrown brand, Anakku, as they celebrated their 40th anniversary. Throughout the year, they had new product launches, nationwide consumer engagement activities and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.


I was invited to the Anakku 40th Anniversary Finale, where Anakku willl wrap up their 40th anniversary celebrations and announce the winners of the Anakku Batik Design Competition, showcase the outcome of their CSR activity with local orphanages.

Through one of the CSR activities, Anakku engaged with four local orphanages; Siddharthan Home, Petaling Jaya; Rumah Charis, Kuala Lumpur; Padamasambhava Children Loving Association, Klang and Good Samaritan Home, Klang; and selected 10 children from each orphanage to record an album of traditional children songs - Rasa Sayang and Ikan Kekek - in a professional recording studio.

Through another CSR activity, Anakku engaged with fashion design students from Malaysia Institute of Art (MIA) through a competition where the students were required to design a new range of clothing for kids aged 0-4 years old, using batik elements.

The winners of the competition won great prizes including cash of up to RM3,000 , certificates and iPods.

The competition was judged by Khoon Hooi, renowned Malaysian designer, Lai Hoo Chu, Head of Textile and Fashion Department, MIA and Chew.

CWS CHILDREN FURFILL WISHES IN 'FAERIE DREAMS' LAUNCH AT SUNWAY PYRAMID

Sunway Pyramid recently launched the Christmas celebration in the mall themed "Faerie Dreams" at the LG2 Blue Concourse where shoppers can see a 40 feet high unique Christmas tree made up with multiple artistic frames and colourful wings.

President of Chidren's Wish Society of Malaysia (CWS), Tan Sri Dato' Dr. Ramon V. Navaratnam; Managing Director of Property Investment Division, Sunway Group, Dato' Ngeow Voon Yean; and Chief Operating Officer of Sunway Shopping Malls, Kevin Tan, made this pledge by placing a colourful feather in a pair of Faerie Wings to officiate the launch.



They were four local celebrities invited for the launch.
 

Chong Poey Yuan 13 year old, he sang You Raise Me Up & If I Let You Go at Sunway Pyramid, Faerie Dreams launch. His wishes was to sing in a concert. Everyone cheered and supported him as he performed 2 songs live!
Elvin Raj 11-year-old boy wishes to be a policeman. An OCPD Subang Jaya, Tuan Yahaya Ramli, donned a police uniform for him, and took him on a ride in a police vehicle.had his dream came true when he became a policeman at the launch of Sunway Pyramid Faerie Dreams.

Chong Jun Kit a 9 year old who wished to become pilot. He became a pilot for a day even though he had muscle disease Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
 
They were among 7 children from CWS who had their wish fulfilled during the launch. The children also received Christmas hampers and vouchers.
 
 
Members of the public can donate RM10 and get a feather to be added to the biggest Faerie Wings in town at Water Feature, Ground Floor or toss a coin and make a wish at the Wishing Fountain at LG2 Blue Concourse and Orange Concourse. All proceeds go to the Children's Wish Society of Malaysia to help terminally ill children fulfill their wish.
