Join Leo the Wildlife Ranger for adventures on ZooMoo, Astro ch 619

Busy parenting daily doesn't stop us from having fun together, first I like to thank PR for sending me this fun kit for my son to play with. It's a great bonding time together. Watch below youtube where WL and me first time together to do unboxing, he's so excited.

This August, ZooMoo (Astro channel 619), is taking your pre-schoolers on a wildlife adventure with a brand new animated TV series, Leo the Wildlife Ranger.

Join junior Rangers Leo and Katie, together with their loyal puppy Hero and Ranger Rocky, as they go on exciting trips around the planet to learn about wildlife and nature. Created and developed by Omens Studios, an Asian award-winning animation and interactive studio, the pre-school series reveals secrets of the ecosystem through fun facts and kick starts a curiosity for the environment and its inhabitants.

Bringing kids closer to the wildlife
The series was created to increase awareness and encourage appreciation of wildlife’s diversity, from a koala’s home in Australia to an electric eel’s base in South America. Episodes are set around the main theme of helping animals in need, and the importance of taking care of the environment.
“At ZooMoo, we carefully curate high-quality educational programmes for pre-school children. It’s important that each generation has an understanding of the animal kingdom and has an appreciation of our world’s natural habitats. With this at the forefront of our strategy, Leo the Wildlife Ranger was a natural fit for the channel. In addition, this award winning series from producer Chi-Sim Tang, showcases the talent from the region.” said Catherine Nebauer, ZooMoo Networks General Manager for Australasia.

Winner of the ‘Best Preschool Programme’ at the 2016 Asian TV Awards, Leo the Wildlife Ranger is produced by Omens Studios, a Singapore based company. One of its key team members is Malaysian talent Kelvin Chow who is the Producer of the series.

“At Omens Studios, we are always trying to excite and inspire every child we come across and Leo the Wildlife Ranger was created to precisely do that. We’re very excited to be part of the ZooMoo family and looking forward to develop more Junior Rangers all over Asia.” said Chi-Sim11 Tang, Executive Producer of Omens Studios.

Leo the Wildlife Ranger will premiere in Malaysia on ZooMoo (Astro ch 619), on Saturday 19 August at 12:05pm (repeats 4:05pm and 8:05am).

About ZooMoo
ZooMoo Networks is a multi-media company that owns and operates the ZooMoo channel, programming and interactive content for children around the World. ZooMoo is a collaboration between some of the world’s foremost wildlife filmmakers, early childhood educationalists and technology developers. Its programming engages and entertains children with the wonders of animals, to stimulate and develop their innate emotional connection with the natural world. ZooMoo is available in Malaysia on Astro channel 619.

The ZooMoo App
The free ZooMoo App is available for download from popular app stores. It is designed to work alongside the ZooMoo channel to extend and reinforce children's learning about, and love for, the animal world. It does this by providing children with ZooMoo Island - an animal sanctuary where they can interact with and look after up to 150 animals.

The app works as a stand-alone experience, where children can feed and look after animals, pose them for photos, watch video clips and learn each animals name and how common or rare they are. Experimentation and fun is encouraged so that children can learn at their own pace, and in their own way. After the initial app download, no Internet connection is required. The app is also totally free with no in-app purchases or advertising.

In addition, the app is synchronized to the broadcast. When the ZooMoo app is turned on, the channel sends original and complimentary content to the child’s tablet. This content can be opened and explored at any time by the child and parent. The app requires no Wi-Fi or Internet connection.
