The Wondrous Winterland at IPC Shopping Centre

The joy of Christmas is in the air at IPC Shopping Centre. The community- friendly shopping centre’s ‘A Wondrous Winterland’ features a snowy wonderland filled with a unique flair of celebration, shopping delights, festive activities and exclusive deals from now until 1st January 2020. This year, the celebration is much more significant as it also marks IPC’s 16th anniversary.

The Wondrous Winterland at IPC Shopping Centre
In collaboration with Toblerone, the legendary triangular chocolate – IPC Shopping Centre will be taking shoppers and visitors to an enchanted festive journey filled sweetness and joy at the main concourse area. Shoppers will be able to walk into a giant lighted crystal globe that has a 15-feet Christmas tree inside, while kids get to tour around the concourse area filled with 3D Tomtes in a magical train ride - yeah check out my son he is happily seated waiting for the ride. With smart phone devices today everyone has got their social media networking, you will be spoilt for choice for Insta-worthy photo moments. I love sharing my photos in instagram as some friends are communicating with me through there.


Visitors can also enjoy the different types of activities and workshops during the weekends throughout this festive period. The activities are crafted to suit the different interests and needs of each family member. There will be Christmas ornament and decoration workshops, special Tomte and Swedish maiden meet and greets, Festive dance performances, as well as fun arts and crafts workshops for kids.

The IPC Tack Club
From the humble beginnings when Mutiara Damansara was still an up-and-coming hot spot, the neighbourhood shopping centre has diversified into more than just a shopping destination for the community. It has evolved into an inspirational space for all walks of life to meet, shop, dine, learn and create happy memories together.


This year, in conjunction with its 16th anniversary, IPC Shopping Centre will be extending its relationship with its partners and shoppers through its new loyalty programme called the IPC Tack Club, for shoppers to enjoy so much more rewards and perks from the shopping centre.

“When we adopted the concept ‘So Much More’, we committed ourselves to create market-relevant shopping experiences that fit our consumers' lifestyles. We do this by consistently identifying opportunities to improve the customer journey through new trends that reflect a well-curated mix of retail and dining concepts, as well as a personalised shopping experience. We understand how consumers have become accustomed to digital self-service through their experiences with mobile apps and online retailing. For a loyalty program, offering the ability to accrue, track and redeem rewards or perks in real-time is no longer a distinction — it's an expectation” said Karyn Lim, General Manager of IPC Shopping Centre.


‘Tack’ which means ‘Thank You’ in Swedish will offer customers with perks and rewards for each purchase at the shopping centre. The program will further extend IPC’s successful digital capabilities, following the success of the award-winning Mood Menu feature - to play an active role in shaping shopper’s experience before and after their visits.


She further explained, “From picking up groceries to shopping for clothes, or to a meal at one of the dining outlets here, The IPC Tack Club will allow customers to make the most from their relationship with IPC Shopping Centre. The programme is fuelled with our commitment towards customer experience and will enable us to further sharpen our ability to provide a seamless offering to each one of our customers.


The data-driven loyalty program will officially be available on IPC Shopping Centre’s mobile app on 2 December 2019. The fully digitised programme will require a one-time registration in the mobile app to recognise every membership. Shoppers will only need to scan their digital membership code on the mobile app in future to enjoy gifts with purchase at lower spend.


The new feature will also integrate IPC Små Club for kids, where existing members can renew their membership for free on the app itself.


With so much more than just festive décor, shoppers will also be rewarded with perks during the festive season from now until 1st January 2020: -

· Upon registration, as a welcome gift, IPC Tack Club members will enjoy free one ice-cream from IKEA

· New and existing IPC Små Club will receive a freebie upon signing up and renewing their membership respectively.

· IPC Tack Club members can redeem one (1) set of 2020 IPC table calendar and Toblerone Milk 100g | With a minimum spend of RM50 in a single receipt

· IPC Tack Club members can redeem one (1) set of Cooler Bag, 2020 table calendar and Toblerone Milk 100g | With a minimum spend of RM400 in a maximum combination of 2 receipts

16th Anniversary Surprise Giveaway
IPC Shopping Centre will also treat 16 lucky shoppers to a ‘mission’ that would score them a chance to win RM16,000 worth of prizes from participating tenants such as All IT Hypermarket, Ben’s Independent Grocer (B.I.G), Happi Kiddo, Harvey Norman, IKEA, Popular Bookstore and Spotlight on 15 December 2019, at 3:00pm.

Christmas is just few months away, I am sure everyone is counting down for the day to come. I like to shop at Spotlight and I have blogged about the Spotlight IPC, have you read about it?

Spotlight, reveals their six X'mas on-trend decorator color palates for 2016 through their "Make It Merry Workshop" at Royale Chulan Damansara. It is led by Spotlight's Creative Content Manager, Mr. Nick Casey.

Spotlight's Communications Manager, Ms. Eva Daly said, "X'mas is a traditionally known as a time for sharing and giving with family and friends. In the spirit of giving, what better way to spread joy this holiday season, than to create and share personalized gifts with your loved ones?"

Thanks to Spotlight's for the invitation I get to hands on to learning to make X'mas decoration, it's not hard at all. It's fun interactive workshop that we can see demonstration on how to make personalized X'mas gifts and decor by applying simple techniques and using range of items that are affordable and can be easily found at the Spotlight store.

This school holiday, have you plan to go anywhere? Lets go to Sunway Pyramid, there's a big screen waiting you there. We spend family time there, then we head to Sunway Lagoon. 'Seaing' is believeing this Christmas! Would you like to get submerged into a unique "Christmas in Atlantis" like no other. This season, a lost city is rediscovered as the mall transforms into a treasure trove filled with pockets of surprises, activities and redemption to usher in the holidays.

Mall with minions decoration

Let's welcome the month of December with our big hands, I am sure most you like minions. We went to The Summit USJ mall, we love the minions decoration for this Christmas.

Yeah my toddler none stop saying bananana and pointing at these cute minions.

They have several minions hanging up the ceiling like they want to reach the Christmas trees.

 

Each mall in Selangor is having their very own Christmas decorations, which is your favourite?

 My boys above having fun!
