Congratulations to Grand Imperial Restaurant opening at Sunway Velocity last Thursday. Indeed a fun event for mom and son to visit the Sunway Velocity Mall for the first time. It was the day, Sean not having tuition and he gets to tag along with me to go the mall by using waze.

 Grand Imperial was established in 2008. With both traditional and innovative management ideas, founder Chef Rand Cheung has expanded the restaurant to eight branches and it has evolved into a famous brand today. The group is popular among celebrities and business people and it provides creative culinary experience. High quality cuisine is assured at Grand Imperial.

Since its establishment in 2008, the group has continuously upheld the spirit of generosity, taking action in awakening the community by promoting charitable activities to benefit the disadvantaged. Grand Imperial unconditionally supports group or personal needs by lending a helping hand. In the past 9 years, Grand Imperial has successfully held a number of charity events in association with Nanyang Press. It had raised more than 3 million ringgit for the Nanyang Press Fund to help the unfortunate and disadvantaged which includes single-parent families, disable individuals, the sick, the elderly, the children and others.

 It was recently awarded winner of the Golden Eagle Award 2014 -2016, Malaysia Top 100 Excellence Enterprises by Nan Yang Siang Piao. Golden Eagle Award is ware prestige and reputable annual business award recognise by the business fraternity. To the Group, it is the highest honour also affirmation and encouragement. It has been striving for innovation since in inception in 2008, and it has become a resounding brand in banquet business shortly after 9 years. The group started operation with their 1st restaurant, Grand Imperial Restaurant in Bangsar, follow by Hartamas, The USJ 19, One Utama, Casa Klang, London and Sunway Pinnacle.

 In 2014, the Grand Imperial Group started it's 7th outlet at the Sunway Pinnancle and it has proved to be a resounding success. This year the Grand Imperial Group has again collaborated with the Sunway Group to open it's 8th outlet at the Sunway Velocity. Located at the 5th floor and encompassing an area of 2,000 sq ft, it has 10 VIP rooms, a restaurant area for ala carte dining and a spacious and luxurious ballroom to cater for weddings.
