It's a lazy Sunday, how's everyone doing? Yesterday we have a family outing to Titi Eco Farm, Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan. As early as 5.30 in the morning I woke up to prepare myself then asking my son to wake up.
We registered at Surian Tower as he journey starts from Surian Tower to Titi Eco Farm. There were 3 buses there, happy to see all the families that joined Wyeth Nutrition (S- MAMA Club). I bumped into of my friend Kathy that CNY time we join the CNY mob dance at Sunway Pyramid. Kathy and her toddler together join this family outing. For your info, Surian Tower parking fee is RM3 during weekend.
At the arrival, we head to the canteen where Wyeth Nutrition's CRM Manager, Chan Wan Yee gives her welcome speech.
We also get the chance to feed the rabbits and goats, it's good to see parents and children have a great bonding time together. Sweet potato leaves are used to feed the rabbits and goats.
Children also learns about washing the sweet potatoes they harvested at the farm.

The goal of discipline is SELF-Discipline

The whole child

Being the 'Good Enough' Parent
Remember that all parents make mistakes!
That is how we learn to be such AWESOME role-models
Rules, Limits and Offer Choices:
What do young children know about these?
"If I had my child to raise all over again, I'build self-esteem first, and the house later.
I'd finger-paint more, and point the finger less.
I would do less correcting and more connecting...
... I'd take my eyes off my watch, and watch with my eyes.
I'd take more hikes and fly more kites.
I'd stop playing serious, and seriously play.
I would run through more fields and gaze at more stars.
I'do more hugging and less tugging."
-Diane Loomans, from If I Had My Child To Raise Over Again

ReplyDeleteyeah I agree on that too, parents need bring kids outdoor not just spend time indoor.
DeleteGreat bonding session, hope more mothers would attend activities like these to bond with their kids more rather than going to the shopping mall or sending their kids of to tuition so they can have "quiet time". Kids also need to understand their parents but how can they do so when the parent don't explain. Because I grew up in a household like that hence explains the distant relationship.
ReplyDeleteagree, most parents having their child full schedule even on the weekends. It's always nice to bring kids out for outdoor explore not just staying at home or tuition or attending classes.
