How's everyone today, I attended the Anakku 40th Anniversary Finale at Delicious, Dua Residency today.
I was invited to the Anakku 40th Anniversary Finale, where Anakku willl wrap up their 40th anniversary celebrations and announce the winners of the Anakku Batik Design Competition, showcase the outcome of their CSR activity with local orphanages.

Through one of the CSR activities, Anakku engaged with four local orphanages; Siddharthan Home, Petaling Jaya; Rumah Charis, Kuala Lumpur; Padamasambhava Children Loving Association, Klang and Good Samaritan Home, Klang; and selected 10 children from each orphanage to record an album of traditional children songs - Rasa Sayang and Ikan Kekek - in a professional recording studio.
Through another CSR activity, Anakku engaged with fashion design students from Malaysia Institute of Art (MIA) through a competition where the students were required to design a new range of clothing for kids aged 0-4 years old, using batik elements.
The winners of the competition won great prizes including cash of up to RM3,000 , certificates and iPods.
The competition was judged by Khoon Hooi, renowned Malaysian designer, Lai Hoo Chu, Head of Textile and Fashion Department, MIA and Chew.
