Child Safety Shopping Campaign in Sunway Pyramid

Being mommy, we are worry of our children safety even though we are in shopping mall. What happened if the children got lost? Now here's an meaningful Child Safety Shopping Campaign I got invited as media to attend with my son.

From 23 May to 9 June 2013, Sunway Pyramid has exclusively collaborated with Disney Pixar's Monsters University, a soon to be released 3D computer-animated comedy cartoon. They have provide lots of exciting programs and activities for the school holidays. Among them is the Safety Rangers Workshop, the mall's unique initiative to increase child safety awareness for shoppers.

The Safety Rangers Workshop is tailored to provide some safety aspects and tips that young children can practice while they are in the mall. The workshops starts with escalator and lift safety, lost and separation, and car park safety. The Safety Rangers also view the child safety shopping video. They learn of the uniform personnel in the shopping mall namely Sunway Police, Security Guard and Customer Care Personnel where they can seek for help.
Above picture where the speaker is explaining about the escalator safety, he informed the children to stand in between the yellows line on escalator and hold the rile.

The Safety Rangers Workshop target the children to make friends and be familiar with scary moments, so they will know how to react under duress.

The Safety Rangers took a simple quiz on what they have learned and followed pledge of by Safety Oath!

Upon graduating the Safety Rangers will receive a cute briefcase, containing stationeries, Monsters University badges, Fun Book, Sunway Lagoon vouchers, certificate of participant.

These sessions for Safety Rangers Workshops are exclusive for Leo Cubs, which is Sunway Pyramid Kid's Club, for children below 12 years old. It is free registration to be one of them.
